Meet Dr. Lemon
Dr. Peter Lemon is a native Iowan who grew up in Iowa City and Des Moines. He received his undergraduate degree from Simpson College, where he received honors as the outstanding senior biology major.
Dr. Lemon attended dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating with high honors and receiving awards in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology. He was also elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society for his scholastic achievements.
Dr. Lemon received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his surgical training at Allegheny General Hospital with a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and two years of General Surgery training.
Dr. Lemon is a licensed dentist and physician in the state of Iowa.
Dr. Lemon is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of American Dental Association, Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Iowa Dental Association, Des Moines Dental District, Iowa Medical Society, and Polk County Medical Society.
Dr. Lemon resides in Grimes where he and his wife, Beth, enjoy spending time with their three children. His interests and hobbies include coaching youth sports, music, hunting and outdoor recreational activities.
